  • Welcome to my blog!

I have never been one to think of myself as creative. As a matter of fact, to this day I struggle to draw a stick figure. But once I picked up my first DSLR camera I was hooked and have become very passionate about photography. It has allowed me to be creative and have a lot of fun at the same time. Thanks for stopping by and allowing me to share my view of my world with you.

Santa Barbara, CA

We just returned from beautiful Santa Barbara, CA, where the weather was 40 degrees cooler than in Phoenix this weekend.  We were there to celebrate our friend Carol’s *0th birthday and early 9th wedding anniversary for ourselves.  Needless to say, we had a great time with good food and good people.  I hadn’t seen my friend Clyde in over 9 years!  Here are a few of my favorites from the weekend.  Enjoy!

Jean Paul Jeune & Lia Sophia Event

Over this past weekend I had the opportunity to shoot a fashion and jewelery event at my friends’, Craig & Amber Webber, house.  The Scottsdale designer, Jean Paul Jeune, attended the event to describe his view of fashion and his process for designing attire for his clients.  Also on hand were representatives from Lia Sophia Jewelery, describing and modeling their designs.

DeSoto, TX

In the days before the actual family reunion, I got a chance to hangout with one of my youngest cousins, Joseph, who’s three.  He spent the day with Jalen & I and I knew immediately when he walked in the door that I was going to photograph him sometime that day.  After running some errands we ran across a park and after shooting Joseph there, the next day I returned to shoot my kids there as the location was pretty cool.  Take a look at the results.

So impressed. You have such a beautiful eye! So many nice shots. The least favorite was your aging buddy. My favorite, two men playing horse shoe in a field.

Thanks Maura!

Cross Family Reunion

It’s been a while since my last post, but for good reason.  My grandparents (RIP) had 14 children and over the Labor Day weekend those children (well most of them) and their children, and their children got together for a family reunion.  It was good to see all of you who attended and here are a few of my favorite moments from the weekend.  Family, I’ll have another site available shortly that will contain the individual family shots with the ability to obtain prints.  ENJOY!
