  • Welcome to my blog!

I have never been one to think of myself as creative. As a matter of fact, to this day I struggle to draw a stick figure. But once I picked up my first DSLR camera I was hooked and have become very passionate about photography. It has allowed me to be creative and have a lot of fun at the same time. Thanks for stopping by and allowing me to share my view of my world with you.

If I didn’t have kids, I would call these four mine!  But I do get the honor of being “Uncle Corey” to them all.  I’ve known Amina and Isaiah since day one and have gotten to know Rosabelle and Elizabeth over the last 8 or so years.  All of them come from great parents, so I can bear witness that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree for anyone of them.  I love them all and what a fun shoot!

Valley of the Sun Bowl

Gauchos Win Valley of the Sun Bowl

The GCC Gauchos finished another stellar football season with their 12th Valley of the Sun bowl victory Saturday, Dec 4 defeating Central Lakes (Minn.) College-Brainerd 23-13. GCC receiver Andrew Castaneda caught seven Kevin Yost passes for 142 yards and was named Glendale’s Player of the Game. Completing 21 of 37 attempts for 268 yards and two touchdown passes, Yost connected with Castandea for a 34-yard score that threw GCC into the lead at 17-13, with 13:14 left. The two connected in the second quarter for the first score of the game and a 7-0 GCC lead with 13:48 left in the half. The touchdown came one play after Gaucho Hermene Flores recovered Nick Grewe’s fumble at Minnesota’s 38. Cinching GCC’s wins was kicker Jordan Sanchez’s field goals from 24, 30 and 23 yards.
