As they say in the south, ASU got taken behind the woodshed on Thursday night. UCLA put an old fashion butt whopping on them with the final score of 62-27 .
Enjoy (if you can),
Saturday night I was on assignment to cover America’s new professional sport, the National Pro Grid League, as it made its debut in the west. The DC Brawlers, whom I was assigned to cover, defeated the Phoenix Rise 21-14 in a match that was close coming into the final three races. NPGL features 11 races that combine speed, strength, and agility. The participants compete on a “Grid” the same size as a professional basketball court divided in to four areas. Men and women compete in this team format and each team must have an over 39-year-old male and female athlete in each race.
Very cool event to cover live!
I had the pleasure of hanging out with Christian last weekend in downtown Phoenix. Christian will be graduating from Mesa High School this May and is undecided on his college choice as he still has a couple more visits to make. The young fella brought his swag and personality to the shoot and we had a blast shooting well past sunset. Good luck to you Christian!
